Potato curry



INGREDIENTS

4 to 5 potatoes cooked
1 Onion chopped lengthwise
1 Tomato finely chopped
3 to 4 chillies chopped lengthwise
Mustard seeds
Urid dal
Jeera
Yogurt
Tamarind extract
Ginger garlic paste (optional)
Curry leaves
Cilantro
Garam Masala
salt

METHOD:

1. Heat oil in pan, crack mustard seeds, jeera, urid dhal. Then addcurry leaves, green chillies, onion, tomato and fry until tender.
2. Add 2 cups of tamarind extract and bring it to boil. Then add garam masala, salt
3. Add chopped potatoes and let it cook for few minutes then add half cup of yougurt mix well and leave it for few minutes in simmer.
4. Garnish with cilantro and serve with chapathi or bread.

We, Yashaswini and Jyothi who never entered kitchen and never knew how make a basic items to (not even coffee or Tea ;-)) before marraige now we are...well... say a good chef!!!
