Methi Mung Dhal



INGREDIENTS:

Sprouted Mung dhal
Toor dhal cooked
Methi / fenugreek leave 1 bunch
Curry leaves
1 onion chopped lengthwise
1 tomato chopped lengthwise
Mustard seeds
Sambar powder or garam masala
Jeera
Tamarind extract
Turmeric
Oil
Salt

METHOD:

1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, jeera, onion, curry leaves, tomato, sprouted mung one by one and fry for few minutes.
2. Then add the methi leaves and fry
3. Add tamarind extract, bring it to boil. Then add salt, sambar powder, pinch of sugar and turmeric powder then add cooked dhal, mix well.
4. Add one cup of water and cook for few minutes.
5. Serve with rice or chapathi.
